The 1st of a series of Smaller heart paintings experimenting with a mix of Abstract and Neo Expressionism. The symbol of a heart chained with a combination lock, is my metaphor of my heart not having a key as in 1 thing that that may over, but rather a sequence over time that will unchain my love.Â
I first conceived it in my urban-surrealist painting. “Locked Heart Shaped Island“.Â
